How it started: 38 days, no
answers, then Phosphorus
I had known about homeopathy for about 20 years. I tried remedies here and there, but I didn’t really understand how the system worked.
That changed when my dog fell ill with explosive diarrhea. We saw her primary veterinarian. We had two appointments at a top veterinary clinic in the U.S. There were no answers — only drugs that made her worse, and a kibble that caused more problems.
Thirty-eight days later of chronic, gushing diarrhea — and doctors who said she did not need fluids — our dog was dying. She was only
five.
After just two doses of Phosphorus, her stool was solid, and she was noticeably feeling better.
I dug into the only homeopathic book I had. I chose Phosphorus based on her unique symptoms. She hadn’t had a walk in a month. I took a video and sent it to my husband. He couldn’t believe it.

From one breakthrough to a life’s work
With that result, I was hooked. I spent years researching this medicine — and yes, it is medicine: remedies painstakingly made in special homeopathic pharmacies here in America and overseas.
I was not going to stop until I had a thorough understanding of homeopathy and how to use it. This was the answer I had been looking for to care for my family and friends medicine designed to work with the body, without the side-effect profile of many conventional drugs.
In 2018 I found Joette Calabrese, a classical and Practical Homeopath. She acquired her practical skills in India, where she learned homeopathic protocols used for over 150 years by doctors who are also homeopaths.
The practical method Joette incorporated into her practice has been so successful that she chose to teach others. I became one of her students, learning to use condition-specific protocols to help people regain a sense of control over their health.
